**Hemi Cuda** Sheathed in the aerodynamic Plymouth® Barracuda body, this Revell 1:24 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda 426 was powered by the famous 426 HEMI® engine. 1971 was the last year that the engine was available and survivors today often sell for amounts reaching into six figures at car auctions. This lightweight machine was transformed into a ground-pounding street machine when powered by the 426-cubic-inch "Elephant Motor." 4-speed transmission is equipped with a pistol grip shifter, heavy-duty springs and suspension, and oversize performance tires mounted on special Ralleye Wheels. Since the rules required customer versions be offered, the Revell 1:25 1969 Ford Boss 302 Mustang contained all the parts the race teams needed to win. The styling of the 69 Boss 302 was designed by Larry Shinoda who gave it a distinctive appearance. Under the hood was a very special version of Ford thin-wall small block V-8.
