Combining beauty with function, designer Henning Koppel spent his career creating objects that were striking in form and practical in use. One such item was the oak bonbonniere. Designed in the 1960s, the acorn-shaped holder was never produced commercially. Instead, Koppel gifted one of the two he crafted to friend and master upholsterer Ivan Schlechter, keeping the other for himself. Now awakened from its slumber in Georg Jensen's archives, Living Georg Jensen revives the beautiful acorn design in smooth oak.
