The Body Shop joins forces with WWF to support bushfire recovery

The Body Shop, Ground Floor

The Body Shop has partnered with WWF Australia to support its work restoring and protecting the forest homes our koalas and other Aussie wildlife lost during the devastating 2019-20 bushfires.

Over 12 million hectares of forest and bushland were burnt in the fires, and an estimated 1.25 billion animals perished, pushing many of Australia’s already threatened species to the brink of extinction whilst many of the wildlife that did survive were left with no food, water or shelter.

The Body Shop has released the special edition WWF Koala Headband. For each headband sold, The Body Shop will donate $5 to WWF’s Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund.

The fund aims to support impacted species and restore habitat by saving and growing two billion trees by 2030, creating safe corridors for koalas, and helping to implement Indigenous and rural fire management.
