NAIDOC Week art display
- 9th Jul - 15th Jul
NAIDOC Week 2018 will celebrate the invaluable contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have played – and continue to play - active and significant roles at the community, local, state and national levels. Under the theme - Because of Her, We Can!
NAIDOC art display
Our NAIDOC Week artists, cousins Amy Hill-Trindall and Caitlin Trindall, are indigenous artists from the Kamilaroi Mob and locals from The Sutherland Shire. Influenced by female artists in their family, both Amy and Caitlin have developed their own unique style inspired by their Aboriginal heritage. They truly embody this year’s NAIDOC theme: Because of her, we can! Come along to see their work.
