NAIDOC Week 2018 aims to celebrate the invaluable contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have played - and continue to play - active and significant roles at the community, local, state and national levels. Under the theme - Because of Her, We Can!

Join us as we celebrate NAIDOC Week with activities and performances for the entire family to enjoy!

Events for the week are as follows;

Monday 9th July: Basket Weaving

Kids will be able to get creative, learn about Aboriginal culture and have fun during these incredible workshops.

WHERE: Fresh Food Mall, located level 1, near Aldi
TIME: 11am

Tuesday 10th July: Welcome to Country and Didgeridoo performance

Watch the breathtaking performance through song and dance.

WHERE: Centre Court, located level 1, near Pandora
TIME: 12pm

Wednesday 11th July: Language

Kids will have the chance to learn and speak the Aboriginal Language.

WHERE: Fresh Food Mall, located level 1, near Aldi
TIME: 11am

Friday 13th July: Cleansing

Take part in the traditional cleansing ceremony and be amongst the song and chant performance.

WHERE: Fresh Food Mall Entrance, located level 1, near Panacea
TIME: 12:30pm
