The Playground plays host to a huge line-up of free kids activities every weekday morning including cooking classes, sensory play, music, dance and yoga.

Mini Munchies Cooking Class

Every Monday 10am - 12pm
Dates: Monday 11 July – Monday 12 September

Does your little one like to help in the kitchen? At Mini Munchies they are the head chef! Each week there is a fun new, hands-on, food decorating activity to enjoy including cookie decorating, fruit wands, donut decorating, fairy bread fun and more! Your child even gets to take home their culinary creation... that is unless they eat it on the spot!

Sensory Play

Every Tuesday 10am - 12pm
Dates: Tuesday 12 July – Tuesday 13 September
Sensory Play encourages imagination, exploration and activates one or multiple senses. Your child will love getting messy digging for fossils, making slime, blowing bubbles, playing with kinetic sand and more. Sensory-rich activities creates hands-on, self-directed play, and encourages discovery and development. Each week will be a new, exciting activity.

Kids Music

Every Wednesday 10am - 12pm
Dates: Wednesday 13 July – Wednesday 14 September

Kids Music is an educational music experience where children learn the concepts of beat, rhythm, tempo and pitch in a play-based environment. We keep things fresh and fun by exploring a new theme each week and using a wonderful array of props, puppets, costumes and percussion instruments to deliver a multi-sensory experience that sees your child engaged and entertained for the whole session.

Dance Party

Every Thursday 10am - 12pm
Dates: Thursday 14 July – Thursday 15 September

Ready, set, dance! Whether you’re a hip hopper, a budding ballerina or a jazz extraordinaire - you can try it all out at Dance Academy. With new dance styles each week, your child can find the style that suits them. Dance not only improves flexibility, coordination, balance, strength and posture - it's also a whole lot of fun!

Kids Yoga

Every Friday 10am - 12pm
Dates: Friday 15 July – Friday 16 September

Find your zen! Our yoga instructors use storytelling, games, music and props to engage the children on a mental and physical level, taking them on a journey of mind and spirit. Your little yogi's will stretch, calm their minds and burn some energy at the same time. Activewear or comfortable clothes are recommended.
