Monotone dressing

Our stylist Victoria Tomaro shares her top tips on monotone dressing this Winter.

This trend is a favourite of mine, those who know me know I love colour, I try not too wear to much black as I feel it drains my complexion and doesn't give my skin a wow factor.

This colour is really flattering on a lot of people. I chose this dress from Oxford as I love the simplicity and the quality of the fabric. The simple tie in the waist and the splits are flattering on my shape.
I have added the coat which is a similar colour and it works beautifully.

Style Tip:
Don't be afraid to keep the colours to a minimum... It's not colour pop it's more monotone dressing.

Dressing in all one colour or in this case I have used two colours that match perfectly. I have seen this with Beige, plum, Emerald Green and Navy Blue.

Accessories:
The White pump gives this look a more modern and fresh update. You can also keep it casual by adding a sneaker for a sports luxe look.

Remember to always try to dress an outfit up or down. Heels and jewellery for a night look, boots or a sneaker for a more relaxed look.

Another great piece of advice ladies:
Don't keep your clothes for special occasions, I hear ladies always say "that's a little too dressy for me". It's always better to be over dressed then under dressed.

People assume you have somewhere to go afterward, so enjoy your clothes and challenge yourself to wear a dress or top in 5 different ways! It's fun to do, I call it the cost per wear factor, the more I wear it the better value it is.
