Manchester Collection is the destination for your bed linen and home decor needs. Offering contemporary as well as classic styles, we specialise in quality, unique products at affordable prices. We work direct with manufactures abroad to bring on trend home fashion to you direct, thereby passing on savings to our customers. Being a smaller retailer has enabled us to capture feedback from customers and bring to market new innovative/new trend designs that larger retailers don’t capture.

Established in 1993, Manchester Collection grew from the initial business of party planning, whereby gathering time-poor customers the opportunity to buy home bedding in the comfort of their homes. The popularity was such that by the early 90’s our first store was established at Sunshine Plaza. With a lot of enthusiasm and hard work, the store quickly became a place people were talking about. Manchester Collection enjoyed getting to know their new customers and sharing firsthand knowledge of their products. Those relationships had a greater impact than any merchandising, display or advertising.

The year 1999 marked the first buying trip to Europe to discover new unique home textile products/trends and allowed Manchester Collection to source unique, affordable merchandise Manchester Collection customers could not find anywhere else. Our strong relationship with factories overseas allowed us to import unique merchandise directly from European factories, which have allowed us to pass the savings on to our customers.

Our Drive and Passion
Our continual drive and passion by providing quality exclusive product/designs has allowed us to grow from our humble beginnings to establishing our footprint in some of Melbourne’s largest regional shopping centres. Now almost 3 decades on, a small idea has led to 7 stores across Melbourne competition against some of Australia’s largest home fashion retailers.

Manchester Collection Today
All of this growth and expansion has been due in large part to the fact that we’ve remained loyal to our original mission of offering quality design at exceptional prices. But it’s been accelerated by our desire to inspire modern living and the meaningful services we have added over the years. It’s an understatement to say a lot has happened between those early days and now. Today, our stores create an inspiring setting for not only our popular home textile products, but also for our extensive homewares collection.
Launched in 2016, manchestercollection.com.au has been launched to enable us to further reach our customers from the comfort of their home.
