Citrus

April – October
Fresh, zesty lemons and limes are a delight this season. With a sour, zingy taste and fragrant peel, citrus is incredibly versatile in both sweet and savoury dishes. Divine.

How to pick
Pick lemons and limes that feel heavy for their size and avoid soft, wrinkly or discoloured skin.

How to use
There are so many delicious dishes and treats using these zesty fruits, including cakes, puddings, salad dressings and curds, or simply squeezed into Mexican and Asian dishes. So add a little zing to your cooking with in-season limes and lemons today.

How to store
Store your citrus in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight.

Mandarins

April – October
Sweet, juicy and easy to peel, Aussie-grown mandarins are ready for the picking. Discover our delicious range, where you'll find everything from the perfect snack for kids, to varieties suited to salads and baking. Enjoy.

Strawberries

All year
Beautiful Australian strawberries are ripe for the picking. Packed with goodness and naturally sweet, these delicious berries are perfect for decadent desserts, on-the-go snacks or to pick up for a family picnic or barbecue.

How to pick
Choose firm strawberries with a bright red, glossy appearance.

How to use
In-season strawberries are the perfect addition to a fruit salad, pancakes or enjoyed as they are.

How to store
Store your strawberries in their original punnet in the fridge and eat within a couple of days. Don’t wash them until you’re ready to use them.

Mangoes

September – March
Juicy, 100% Australian mangoes are in abundance and ripe for the picking right now. Everyone knows mangoes are delicious, but they’re also very nutritious. A 150 gram serve of ripe mango provides you with over 95% of your recommended dietary intake of vitamin C and over 70% of your recommended dietary intake of vitamin A.

How to pick
Colour isn’t the best indicator of ripeness. To know if a mango is ripe you need to squeeze it gently. A ripe mango will give slightly.

How to use
Add them to chicken or prawn dishes or to a bowl of ice cream. You can also throw them in a summer salad or in the blender for a smoothie. Best of all, eat them on their own as a delicious snack.

How to store
Only put your mangoes in the fridge once they have ripened. Fully ripe mangoes can be stored in the fridge for a couple of days.
