It's safe to say the days of simple meat and three veg are long behind us. Now, food is all about experimentation! From fried insects to milkshakes topped with a donut, fermented vegetables to wacky technologies used in the kitchen, 2017 has been an explosion of food trends.
On August 5 and 6, we'll be celebrating all things food (and drink!) with our Eat Drink Westfield event, with 20 centres getting in the spirit with activations, masterclasses and tastings. We're getting ready by exploring some tasty, clever and, er... questionable food trends we've seen over the past year.
