The iconic brand have released their highly anticipated centenary campaign “100 Years of Australian Lifestyle” featuring eight Australian personalities who typify the essence of Sportscraft and our Australian lifestyle. Rachel Griffiths, Michael Klim, Ita Buttrose, Kylie Kwong, Nick Farr-Jones, Gracie Otto, Samantha Harris and Anthony “Harries” Carroll have been enlisted as ambassadors thanks to their work creating a vibrant arts scene, a sporting nation, diverse cuisine, an egalitarian life and the undying positive spirit of a sunburnt country.
Since its launch in 1914, Sportscraft have celebrated many historical moments and milestones – the legendary Helmut Newton was once commissioned to photograph Sportscraft’s campaigns, while in the 1950’s Sportscraft featured in the very first edition of Vogue Australia. Their 100th birthday will be celebrated throughout 2014 with a number of colourful projects: in May, we were introduced to The Iconic Collection – a limited edition capsule featuring modern interpretations of old Sportscraft favourites, and this month Sportscraft will host a spectacular campaign celebration dinner.
