As a makeup obsessed beauty addict, I’m always on the hunt for new products to try. Sometimes, if they pass my gruelling tests, I’ll add them to my very extensive collection made up of countless lipsticks, mascaras for every type of lash and foundations that are juuuuust right. I’m also constantly on the look-up for new updates to my favourite products, and new items that have a quirky twist.
If you too are a bit of a makeup nut, you will have noticed Napoleon Perdis have released a brand new product called ‘Stroke of Genius’ Liquid Cashmere Foundation ($60). As the name suggests, it’s a light to medium coverage base that’s silky smooth to apply and comes with added SPF20+ protection. That’s all lovely, but the best bit has to be the BUILT IN brush for easy application. No fingers, no sponges, no silly tools hogging all the space where we could be storing more eyeshadows! All you need to do is lightly squeeze the tube and the foundation will appear through the brush, which you glide directly onto your face. You can build the product up if you prefer a little more coverage too. Easy peesy!
I’ve been roadtesting this product for a couple of weeks now and I can say that it’s become a regular part of my morning routine. I especially love it when worn over the top of the Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Primer (another firm favourite) as it brushes on even smoother and lasts a bit longer. Along with this, you’ll also get a gorgeous subtle glow – no glitter, but a slight sheen that will have you looking like you’ve just returned from six months in the Bahamas.
Sounds good to me!
