W: What is your best kept beauty secret?
RL: I think filling in brows with the right colour. It took forever to find the perfect colour; I didn't realise if I went too dark I'd like look like the blue bird from the muppets.
W: We know that you like to make your own facials and cleansers. Can you share any quick DIY beauty tips/recipes to try at home?
RL: I still love my body bar. It's really simple to make. You just have to melt shea butter and cocoa butter with coconut oil in a saucepan, then I usually add some essentials oils like lavender or I'll add real lavender from my garden. Then I'll pour that into a ramekin and freeze it. [It's] a really awesome beauty bar that's organic and safe to use on everyone, even your kids.
W: You love food and love to cook. Can you share your favourite recipe from your cookbook?
RL: One of my favourites is my turkey roast or roasted veggie fondue.
W: What is your quick, healthy go-to snack? And what do you eat post-exercise?
RL: Bananas are always my go-to snack, as are avocados.
W: Can you share any advice for young girls and women struggling with their body and image of themselves? Any tips on how to gain confidence and how they can learn to love their body?
RL: I'm a big believer in conquering those negative thoughts. We can all get consumed by them from time to time. I have a lot of hobbies that are totally unrelated to what I look like. I'm bored with the over-saturation of one type of body frame that we've unfortunately being inundated with for years. I also believe in eating good, real food.
