Westfield: How should we be caring for our dry skin in winter?
The Body Shop: Scrubbing is something we should be doing all year round, but especially in winter to remove dry skin and dead skin cells. Do this at least once a week in the shower with our Spa Wisdom Africa Ximenia and Sea Salt Scrub and Exfoliating Gloves, then moisturise as soon as you get out when your skin is still warm – this is when your skin soaks it in best. We love our Cocoa Butter Body Lotion.
W: What makes The Body Shop tanning products so great?
TBS: We have a complete range of tanning products, from brush-on bronzers for your everyday makeup look to shimmering dry body oils for a night out. But most importantly, our products aren’t tested on animals and we work heavily with marginalised communities all over the world with our Community Fair Trade program.
W: Which is best for our winter skin – powder, cream or liquid tanners?
TBS: For your face, it depends on whether you wear a powder or liquid foundation; if you wear a powder foundation or finish with a setting powder, go for a powder bronzer, and if you prefer liquid foundation, a cream bronzer is best. For your body, choose a liquid tanning oil that will nourish the skin while giving you a sunkissed glow.
