With winter here, there’s nothing worse than the out of the blue chilly breeze hitting you when you’re not ready for it. The denim jacket is a staple for any wardrobe for any season, however the great thing about it for winter is that it acts as a windbreaker.
This look can double up for the office and even those weekend adventures. Pairing it will the Aquila desert boots means you can pound the pavement in the city or head out to the country side and still be looking the part.
When it comes to casual Fridays many people think it’s okay to roll around in your trackies...new flash, it’s not. You never want people in your workplace not taking you seriously and this outfit is the perfect balance between comfort and class.
A fresh pair of Adidas Originals from JD Sports has you feeling relaxed and comfortable but a little more together then the old dirty ones you use for mowing the lawn. The Hugo Boss navy blazer is a great foundation piece for any wardrobe and I highly recommend investing in a brand that is good quality as it’s a great fall back with a shirt or even t-shit underneath for years to come.
Four N Twenty Pie Thanks
This kit is my go-to for the footy. It's all about layering, which is the best thing about winter fashion. Perfect for Melbourne’s 4-seasons in-a-day weather. If you wanted to you could layer a step further and add the raincoat from look four, but I’m a sucker for getting a little hot too quickly so the scarf is enough for me.
The 9 to 5
For me MJ Bale make one of the best value for money suits in the game. The one I’m wearing is from the Kingston collection, which gets its name from the farm the wool is pulled from in Tasmania.
The quality in this suit is perfect for the Monday to Friday hustle and the blue suit is now the must-have when it comes to work. I’ve added a little touch of flair with the floral tie, however you can spruce it up for the races or keep it more conservative, which is why it’s such a great buy for the quality and value for money.
