Racing dress code: black, white and touch of red
It's time to be adventurous in black, white and red. It's all about making a statement, according to Westfield Stylist, Leticia Gaskell.

What’s one thing you can’t go to the races without?
With such a classic theme as black, white and red, how would you suggest getting creative for Stradbroke Day?
Monochrome is a classic for winter racing and one of my favourite looks. It can be made to stand out by mixing different textures, prints and accessories. Consider incorporating a splash of red with your accessories or through beauty products, like a polish and a good quality red lip!
What millinery trends are you obsessing over?
A hat is my number one pick – it's sophisticated and timeless. I’m also fond of the structured knot headband pared back with statement earrings.
What makes the Winter Carnival distinct compared to other racing events?
The classic fashion styles, midi-lengths, long sleeves and heavier fabrics.
