Brisbane Festival is coming back to Westfield Chermside for another year!

As a Gold Partner of Brisbane Festival 2024 and a Presenting Partner of the Satellite Stage Program, customers can expect to see some of Brisbane’s favourite musicians, artists and family friendly workshops at Westfield Chermside this September.

Artist Installation - Waste Wardrobe

Monday, 26 August | From 9am

Claudia Williams is a multidisciplinary artist known for transforming discarded materials into unique, wearable art. Her project, "Waste Wardrobe," is a part of her Recycled Fashion Showcase that will be on display at Westfield Chermside. The installation embodies the principles of "reuse, remake, rethink," challenging traditional notions of fashion and sustainability.

Live Entertainment & Workshops

From Thursday, 12 September

Get a taste of the Festival’s best, enjoy free live entertainment under the Dome every week. Plus master new circus skills, drop by for a hip hop lessons and join in a dance cypher with some of the best dancers in town at free family workshops.

Reuse & Recycle with UPPAREL

Collections have now ended. Thank you for your support.

On average, Australians purchase 27kg of new textiles each year and then discard around 23kg annually.

Westfield Chermside has teamed up with UPPAREL to divert reusable materials from landfill and give pre-loved pieces a new life.
