6 Brisbane feasts for the whole family

Gazing or Churros Platters at Cowch Dessert Cocktail Bar

Sweet treats are always a family favourite. Sink your teeth into the Grazing Platter complete with crepe, Belgian waffle, pancake and churros, served with toasted marshmallows, strawberries, vanilla ice cream, white and milk choc shots, M&M’s and sprinkles. For a simpler, but still fulfilling option, grab the baked churros platter complete with your choice of three chocolate shots.

Any Main and a Free Kids Meal at The Sporting Globe

The Sporting Globe at Westfield Chermside are offering a free kids meal with the purchase of any main meal on Monday and Tuesday. So if you have an even number of kids and adults dining out, this option is a winner. At The Sporting Globe, kids can choose from a burger, calamari, chicken parma or nuggets with either fries or broccoli.

Souvla Feast at Zeus Street Greek

One of our favourite Greek hangouts, Zeus Street Greek, serves up a delicious Feast for Two featuring their flame-grilled skewers of either chicken, lamb or beef. This feast comes with any side, any salad and plenty of tzatziki, pilaf and pita bread. Order two of these feasts if you’re dining with more than two adults, or one feast and a couple of ‘Mini Gods’ meals for the younger diners. Pro tip: ask at the counter for
some fun Zeusy activities to keep the kids entertained.

Tear & Share Platter at Nando’s

This enormous sharing platter from Nando’s comes with a whole flame grilled PERi-PERi chicken and plenty of sides. Order this platter and you’ll also be served up some toasted pita, a quinoa and tabbouli salad, cucumber, red capsicum and a creamy hummus dip with more PERi-PERi sauce drizzled on top. Plenty to go around!

Munich Brewers Platter at The Bavarian

The Bavarian serves up an awesome platter of typically German fare – roasted pork knuckle, crackling pork belly, haus sausages, schnitzel, sauerkraut, bier jus and mashed potatoes. The Munich Brewers platter is ‘designed for two or more’ but we reckon there’s plenty here for 4 adults. Not to mention, The Bavarian lets kids eat free on Sundays. We’ll see you there!
