NAIDOC Week 2018 will celebrate the invaluable contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have played – and continue to play - active and significant roles at the community, local, state and national levels. Under the theme - Because of Her, We Can!

At Westfield Chatswood, we invite you to join us in celebrating NAIDOC Week with activities that the whole family will enjoy. View our events schedule below:

Monday 9 July: Children's Indigenous Storytelling

Discover Aboriginal storytelling with Dymocks as they read through some of the favourites including How the Birds Got Their Colours, Dunbi the Owl, When the Snake Bites the Sun and more. PLUS take home a FREE* storybook!

WHERE: Level 3, near Dymocks
TIME: 11am and 1pm

Friday 13 July: Beatty Clan Crew Dance Workshops

Join the Beatty Clan Crew for two workshops focusing on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance. Learn these traditional dances, plus have your face painted with Aboriginal paint!

WHERE: Level 3, near Dymocks
TIME: 1pm
