Celebrate Lunar New Year, the Year of the Tiger through learning Tai Chi with Westfield Burwood Local Hero Yinxia Hu.

Tai Chi is one of the oldest philosophical thoughts in China, which became the basis of Chinese Taoist theory, and later evolved into a name for Chinese martial arts, and now it has become a culture of health preservation.

What you'll learn in each session:

  1. Taiji health-preserving exercise: Baduanjin. "Ba Duan Jin" has a history of one to two thousand years in China. It is a kind of exercise method in ancient China, and it is yoga in sports.

  2. The basic skills of Taijiquan: Eight methods and five steps. "Eight Laws and Five Steps" is a course launched by the China Sports Bureau in recent years. In order to make it easy for more people to learn Taijiquan well, special courses are set up.

  3. Twenty-four simple Taijiquan: This is the most widely popularised set of Tai Chi in the world.

  4. Performance item: 85-style Yang's Taijiquan
