Try these delicious biltong recipes at home

Tasty Biltong Bruschetta

Difficulty 4/10 | Spice Level 2/10 (Optional) | Serves Two

100g of Fatty Biltong
Olive Oil
Balsamic Vinegar Glaze
Sourdough Bread
Basil & Parsley

1. Slice up the Fatty Biltong into small pieces.
2. Dice up the tomatoes and onion into small cubes and throw into a bowl to start the Bruschetta mix.
3. Slice up parsley and basil, add to the Bruschetta mix.
4. Drizzle oil and sprinkle spices, throw in some crushed or sliced garlic.
5. Pour oil onto a heated pan and place sliced bread into pan.
6. Lightly back both sides of the bread so it’s toasted.
7. Place Bruschetta mix onto the bread, spreading it out evenly.
8. Place the sliced Fatty Biltong onto the mix.
9. Drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar glaze to finish.

Smashed Biltong Avo

Difficulty 6/10 | Spice Level 4/10 (Optional) | Serves Optional

100g of Fatty Biltong
Olive Oil
Smokey Q’s Bull Head BBQ Sauce
Smokey Q’s Chipotle BBQ Rub
Sourdough Bread
Basil & Parsley

1. Slice up the Fatty Biltong into small pieces.
2. Fry the the eggs in the pan, sunny side up.
3. Halve and peel the Avocado, then remove the pit from the centre.
4. Smash it up! However you like, have a bit of fun with this step.
5. Add some Smokey Q Chipotle Rub, small amount of diced tomato and onion.
6. Drizzle oil in a pan and toast the bread lightly in a heated pan.
7. Once the bread is lightly toasted, top it up with the Smashed Avo mix.
8. Add the fried egg, Fatty Biltong and then a splash of Smokey Q’s Bulls Head BBQ Sauce!

Biltong Continental Roll

Difficulty 4/10 | Spice Level 5/10 (Optional) | Serves One

100g of Sliced Pepper Biltong
Grilled Eggplant
Grilled Capsicum
Olive Oil
Mozzarella Cheese
Cheddar Cheese
Sourdough Bread
Smokey Q’s Chipotle Rub

1. Slice up the olives, grilled capsicum, eggplant and mozzarella.
2. Slice the sourdough roll in half and drizzle the olive oil.
3. Place the cheddar cheese on the roll.
4. Layer the Sliced Pepper Biltong on the roll.
5. Add the other sliced ingredients, stacking them up!
6. Drizzle some more olive oil on top of the ingredients.
7. Add some coriander and sprinkle a little bit of the Smokey Q Chipotle Rub.
8. Place the top bun onto the layered ingredients and slice in halves.
