Westfield Whitford City, Carousel and Innaloo would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers to supported our recent Sunday Trade for Telethon on June 12 and Giveability Day on 21 May. You've helped us raise over $12,000 this year for Telethon, and our efforts to help this worthy cuase will continue throughout 2011.

Since its inception in 1968, Telethon has rasied over $103 million and provided much needed financial assistance to a significant number of charitable organisations, children's hospitals and research and medical facilities in Western Australia. The Telethon Team vigorously fundraises across 12 months a year with a varied and exciting schedule of projects supported by commercial partnerships. The Telethon Weekend event has grown to become the most significant television charity appeal in Australia; in fact, it is regarded as the most successful fundraising event per capita in the world! In 2010 the Telethon total set an all time record at over $9 million, which was distributed to over 20 benficiaries, including the Asthma Foundation of WA, Carers WA, Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia, Make-A-Wish Australia, Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, Save the Children, and many more.
