Give Ability Day - Saturday 21 May

Get behind your local community on Saturday 21 May for national Give Ability Day at Westfield West Lakes and support children with disabilities and their families.

Our Westfield Community Program has been providing support for children with disabilities and their families since February 2008 by providing funds for therapy equipment, respite, early intervention and education programs.

This year, Westfield hosts a major national fundraising drive on Saturday 21st May focusing on what we can all do to help enable children with disabilities and their families. We all have 'give ability' - the ability to donate what we can, no matter how big or small, to our local communities.

Westfield West Lakes will be hosting the following on Saturday;

Malcolm Creswell, Regional Manager for Westfield in South Australia, said Give Ability Day is an important local fundraising drive and will become an annual community event.

"Westfield is very proud to partner with CanDo4Kids who do an amazing job with helping a very special part of our local community," said Creswell.

"This is our first Give Ability Day and we encourage everyone to come down on Saturday 21 May and donate what you can to help. With 1 in 14* Australian children living with a disability, this is a chance for the local community to make a real difference."
