March 2009 Art on construction hoardings installed.

April 2009 100 Market Street commercial tower glass facade installation commences.
Imperial demolition is completed.

85 Castlereagh Street commercial tower and new shoppping centre excavation commences.

August 2009

Most retailers in Skygarden cease trading and construction works commence in this area.

October 2009

Sky Phoenix ceases trading in Skygarden to make way for refurbishment works.
