Give Ability Day - May 2011

This year Westfield launched a new initiative as part of our National Westfield Community Program, Give Ability Day.

On Saturday 21 May 2011, Westfield Innaloo participated in a fundraising day in support of our local nominated beneficiary; Telethon.

Give Ability Day allowed us as a centre to focus on what we can all do to help provide the ability for kids with disabilities to take part in fun activities, for parents and carers to have a break and for new programs and facilities to be set up.

Overall the day was a tremendous success with Westfield Innaloo raising over $3,500! We could not have done it without the support of local community shoppers and our retailers; we thank them very much for their contributions. We also had some great entertainment, with volunteers from Telethon & centre management shaking tins, selling Fat Cat merchandise & face painting.

We look forward to our next Give Ability Day and can't wait to get all our retailers & the community back on board to help us reach a new fundraising target!
