Westfield offers wheelchairs and power shoppers free of charge for up to 3 hours. Bookings on (03) 9704 6666 are preferred so availability can be guaranteed.
Disabled Facilities
For our disabled patrons, wheelchairs and power shoppers can be provided free of charge. For bookings, please contact Customer Service or Centre Management.
Disabled parking spaces are located at all major entrances.
Restrooms for the disabled are easily located throughout the Centre.
Due to the redevelopment of Westfield Fountain Gate there have been some changes to the access and amenities that are available at the Shopping Centre. The following outlines what changes have been made and the alternatives that are available for shoppers.
Closure of Lift between Levels 1&2
The lift between levels 1 & 2 near K-Mart has been closed for demolition.
Mobility equipment is now to be used on the travelator next to RACV, this travelator is designed to carry mobility equipment.
If you use Westfield supplied mobility equipment, a new form will need to be signed at the Customer Service Desk.
Westfield carries both motorised and manual equipment. Should you require opportunity to transfer from motorised to manual, equipment is available.
If you feel that you need further assistance or advice please contact Centre Management or the Concierge desk.
There has been an assistance call button placed at the top and bottom of the travelator.
If you are vision impaired, have a guide dog or do not feel confident to use mobility equipment on a moving travelator, please let us know and we will turn the travelator off in order for you to move between floors.
Taxi Rank
The taxi rank has been relocated to outside the Fountain Gate Hotel due to rectification works that are occurring in the Level 2 car park.
Closure of Amenities
Level 1 Amenities – Amenities near K-Mart have now closed, the amenities that are able to be accessed are located in the Food Court, next to Centre Management and between Big W & Woolworths.
New amenities near K-Mart will re-open in May 2012.
Level 2 Amenities – a partial closure will occur in early June, the remainder of the amenities will occur in late June. Temporary amenities will be opened in July and will remain open until May 2012.
Disabled Parking
There will be reduced disabled parking spaces on Level 2 until the end of October 2011 due to the car park rectification works.
There is disabled parking available across the Centre located in the following areas:
1) Food court car park
2) Roof top car park – lift available for access
3) Basement car park – lift available for access
