Kim Ellmer

Kim Ellmer has worked in fashion her entire life, first as an international model for over 20 years and now as a stylist.

Kim doesn't follow trends but instead works with suits the individual best, believing that style isn't wearing clothes that someone has 'forecast' to wear, but instead is about tapping into the individuals own personality and bringing that to the foreground. "Clothing is not only about lokoing great on the outside, but it is so important for the soul. If you feel great on the outside your going to feel great on the inside as well", says Kim.



Kim has styled a vast array of actors, musicians, models, sport-stars and celebrities alike, working with everyone from Jennifer Hawkins, Eric Bana and Cathy Freeman to Jessica Hart, The Veronicas and the Neighbours cast. She is also the creative force behind many of the show-stopping frocks seen on the red-carpet at the Logies, AFIs and the ARIAs.

Kims' work has also been displayed throughout magazine publications Instyle and Culture to Who Weekly and Ok! Magazine just to name a few, as well as on major campaigns ranging from Myer to Midas shoes.

A recent gig of Kim's was styling Kirsty Hinze for the Project Runway TV series. Working with Hinze was a pleasure for Kim, and she loved the freedome of being able to style the model and presenter for every episode.

With a lifelong career path in fashion and an innate sense of knowing what works on who, Kim loves her job and sees personal style as a way of showing thw world who you are.
