Emily Ward

Emily Ward’s foray into fashion was forged by following her passion, which has led to her successful career as a fashion stylist for the past 6 years. Based in Melbourne Emily is a weekly contributor to The Age newspaper. Her contributions in the Age include fashion, beauty and interior design columns in addition to covers for A2, Epicure and M Magazine.

She has styled fashion parades for both L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and Rosemount Australian Fashion Week. In addition she has a number of commercial advertising clients and consults stylistically to Australian labels including Anna Thomas and Dhini.

Emily was recently selected by International photographer Scott Schuman (The Sartorialist) to feature as one of 17 subjects for a campaign to capture the city’s “stylemeisters in the streets, lanes and cafes of Melbourne.” Attending the Paris Ready to Wear shows in 2009 Emily draws inspiration from international runway collections. She believes fashion trends come and go each season but style is about navigating a path through a sea of seasonal trends to find your own look.
