Style is a passion for Christie Nicolaides, who has over seven years experience in personal styling, fashion journalism and visual merchandising.

Working with acclaimed fashion label Easton Pearson, and a number of high-end boutiques, Christie lives by the motto; everyone has style, a way to choose and wear clothes that suits their body shape and budget, a style that suits them as a person.

"The best thing about a Personal Style Session is not only are they tailored specifically to the clients needs, but are perfect for showing people how to mix and match pieces to create a total look that will work with their lifestyle" she said.

Christie is one of Westfield Chermside's resident stylists and conducts Personal Style Sessions, fashion events and visual merchandising for the centre.

Throughout her 30year career in fashion Kim Ring has done it all, transforming herself from a top Brisbane model to a respected and credible industry expert.

She has previously worked with international design labels such as Valentino, DKNY, Escada, Emmanual Ungaro and Versace.

Kim is one of Westfield Chermside's resident stylists and conducts Personal Style Sessions, fashion events and visual merchandisisng for the centre.

Kim believes the most rewarding thing about being a personal stylist is the transformation of her clients at the end of a session.

"They see wonderful results and it really boosts their self confidence.  Whilst it might not change their life, it certainly changes the way they shop!" she said.

Laura Stead has her finger on the pulse of what's happening in fashion right here and around the world.

Former fashion editor of The Courier-Mail, Laura is an experienced editorial stylist and fashion writer and joined the Westfield Chermside fashion team in 2011 as a resident stylist. She conducts personal style sessions, hosts fashion parades and events, writes the Westfield Chermside fashion blog and Facebook posts and styles photo shoots for the centre. 

Being exposed to all facets of the fashion industry, from grass-roots involvement with Brisbane designers to reporting on the latest trends and travelling from Brisbane to Sydney, Melbourne and New York as a regular fixture on the Fashion Week circuit, Laura knows that fashion is serious business while at the same time the ultimate in self-expression.

"Style is something everyone can achieve" she said.

"The way we dress impacts on every aspect of our lives and if you look good, you feel good. It's all about knowing how to flatter your shape and compliment your personality."

Laura enjoys working with her clients to see them have fun experimenting with fashion and interpreting runway trends into reality.
