Local Community

Westfield Carousel works hard to support our local community all year round and places a special fundraising focus on our biannual Give Ability Days in July and November.

This year we have partnered with Therapy Focus to raise much needed funds to help support and achieve their mission, which is to: provide therapy and support services to Western Australian children and young people with a disability or learning disadvantage.


Therapy Focus exists to:

• Teach life skills to improve children's quality of life and help them achieve their full potential.
• Create and foster environments to support a child with a disability or learning disadvantage.
• Provide advice and solutions to common issues such as inclusion and participation, social skills, language, literacy and physical activity.
• Assist families, teachers, health professionals and the community in their work with children with a disability or disadvantage - including facilitating the growth of parent and carer networks.
• Hold workshops and training for teachers, parents, community workers and health professionals.
• Lead evidence-based research and consultancy in child therapy.
