Fashion model, photographer and blogger Zanita shares her inspiration and a few of her favourite things.

Photographers inspire me a lot. Right now I'm loving the work of German duo Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer. Their photographs are striking and beautiful and the use of colour is amazing. If you're looking for inspiration you should definitely check out their work!

What is your favourite piece in your wardrobe right now?

Always my vintage mustard trench - and then whatever I purchase next! There are some things I absolutely adore that will be in my wardrobe forever, but I also love wearing new things, so it's an endless hunt.

Tell us about the items you selected at the Fashion Cupboard

I chose casual and comfortable pieces that reminded me of a look from the Dries Van Noten Fall 2010 collection. The collection is all about loose tailored looks, mixing black with natural shades like brown and olive green, with indigo highlights and digital prints.

What's your Fail-Safe outfit?

Navy plimsolls, jeans, and a white collared shirt - well dressed casual.

What's on your must have list this season?

A pair of perfect-fitting, long line coloured trousers.

What advice would you give someone wanting to amplify their style?

Take more risks, wear more colour, throw in a funky accessory like a detailed necklace.

Someone who loves fashion but isn't necessarily dictated by trends, someone who plays by their own rules.

What are the absolute essentials every girl should have in their wardrobe?

Great fitting jeans, a leather jacket, grey tees and white shirts, the perfect pair of black pumps.
