Do's and don'ts of Yum Cha

Order Yum Cha like a pro this Chinese New Year with these do's and don'ts straight from the lazy susan at Kam Fook Seafood Restaurant on Level 6.

Do pile up your bamboo baskets on top of each other, the more the better!

Do bring some friends. Most dim sum come in serves of 3 or 4.

Do place the lid of your tea pot to the side or upside down to show you would like more tea.

Do pour tea for others before pouring yourself a cup; it's considered good manners.

Do try new things such as chicken feet (if you're feeling adventurous). They're considered a delicacy.

Don't forget to leave room for dessert, such as delicious egg tarts and mango pudding!
