Get inspired
The Holdsworth Community Centre is at the heart of the community of Woollahra in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
The centre offers disability services for both children and adults, who have a mild to moderate intellectual disability and live with a primary carer in Eastern Sydney and focuses on whole families, supporting parents and carers and maximising opportunities for those living with an intellectual disability.
Holdsworth provides a wide range of quality support, information, advocacy, referrals, programs and activities. They approach service delivery from the perspective of the person’s needs and provide integrated services that may come from several of our programs working in harmony. They help people to make connections, to access services, to engage with the community, to look after themselves and those they care for and to retain their independence and dignity.
All of Holdsworth's services are heavily subsidised by their funders and partners, but they do charge small fees for most services. However, no eligible client will ever be refused services due to inability to pay their fees.
