The combination of ingredients in Drontal Worming Suspension treats gastrointestinal worms in dogs including roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, A. brazilense, Uncinaria stenocephala)and whipworm (Trichuris vulpis). This product does not treat tapeworms nor prevent heartworm disease.

Dosage and Administration: Administer orally at the rate of 1 mL/kg bodyweight. It is not necessary to fast animals prior to dosing.

General recommendations for treatment: Puppies should be treated at 2, 4, 8, 12 weeks of age, then at 4, 5 and 6 months. Adult dogs should be treated 3 monthly, or if in a Hydatids area, 6 weekly with a product effective against tapeworms.
