We don't recommend water be frozen in the Klean Kanteen water bottles as expansion may occur, disfiguring the shape of the water bottle.

General Care of the Wide Mouth Klean Kanteen
Bottles: Dishwasher safe. Caps: Do not submerge in water or run through the dishwasher as this can lead to water entering (and damaging) the cap. Simply rub with a soapy sponge and rinse under water. Let air dry.
