Shopping

Shopping on westfield.com.au

With over 50 years experience Westfield now offers online shopping at some of your favourite stores. Just like shopping at a Westfield Centre, at Westfield Online you're shopping with each individual store. However, at Westfield Online, if you purchase items from a number of different online stores, you do so via a single Westfield checkout.

Am I buying items from Westfield or from individual stores?

Just like shopping at a Westfield Centre, at Westfield Online you're shopping with each individual store and your credit card will show your transaction with each individual retailer. However, no matter what store you purchase from, because you will be using a single Westfield checkout, your payment details are managed by Westfield.

What if I change my mind after ordering?

If you change your mind after ordering, you can cancel prior to the individual stores dispatching your order (when you will receive an "Order Shipped" email), by using the link in the "Order Confirmation" email you will receive when you place an order. If you are a member of westfield.com.au, you can also cancel your order in the "Your Orders" section

Once you receive your "Order Shipped" email from a store, your payment has been processed. In this case you should contact the store directly to discuss refund options or view their returns process on westfield.com.au. Of course we're always here to help. How can I be sure the items I order are in stock?

Stores update stock continuously on westfield.com.au in order to try to ensure all items, unless labeled "Out of stock", are at the stores warehouse ready for delivery.

However if one of your items does happen to be out of stock, in most cases the store will backorder this for you and notify you. If this happens and you don't wish to wait, you can cancel your order & you won't be charged for that item. If you have any questions about items in stock, you should contact the store directly.

Can I pick up items that I buy online, in a store?

At this stage you cannot buy online and then arrange collection from a store location. However if you find a product on the site that you like, you can contact the store directly to find out how you can buy it in store.

Payments

Payments on westfield.com.au

Shoppers have the choice of paying for their purchases via credit card or PayPal. All payments are managed by Westfield's payment gateway, so you can shop at any store, big or small, and have the same level of security.

All retailers accept Australian and international Visa and MasterCard.

We are currently rolling out PayPal and acceptance is limited by selected retailers. Additional retailers will be added over the coming weeks. The option to pay with PayPal will be shown to you during checkout.



Note - we do not have ability to split part payment by credit card and PayPal. If your shopping cart comprises of both PayPal and non-PayPal retailers the payment method will automatically default to credit card only.

Please note that shipping is only to addresses within Australia.

As part of our fraud prevention program a member of the Westfield.com.au team may contact you to request further verification of your identify in order to complete your order. We do this to reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions. We may ask for a scan of your driver licence or other form of identification, or to confirm certain details of your order verbally. Any personal information you provide us will be treated in accordance with our privacy policy. If you are contacted on behalf of Westfield.com.au, and are concerned that the person contacting you may be involved in any fraud, you should call 1300 788 957.

Who will see my personal details?

We take your privacy seriously and treat your personal details in accordance with our privacy policy and the westfield.com.au terms and conditions. Details required for delivery of your order will also be passed to the stores you have ordered from, but they are only permitted to use them with for other purposes with your prior permission. You should review each stores terms and conditions in their online store front to confirm how the stores treat your personal details.

How will this charge appear on my credit card statement?

Because you are buying directly from a store listed on westfield.com.au, payment will be processed for each individual store you purchase from. Each amount, and retailer name, will appear on your credit card statement so you can check these against your order.

Payments will not be processed until an item is dispatched to you, at which time you will receive an "Order Shipped" email.

Do I pay any fee to Westfield for shopping online?

No, you only pay the price of the product as advertised inclusive of GST (unless expressly excluded), any delivery costs as detailed in your cart before you checkout, and any other taxes which may apply to the purchase, depending upon your personal circumstances and location.

How do I get my tax invoice?

Tax invoices are issued by stores once your order is dispatched by the store, and will either come with your items or be emailed to you by the store, depending on the store's process. If you require a tax invoice and don't receive one, please contact the store directly to request one.

Membership

Do I have to be a member to shop on westfield.com.au?

You don't have to be a member of westfield.com.au in order to shop. You will be offered the option to become a member of westfield.com.au after any purchase so you can take advantage of "One Click Checkout" for future purchases. Members also have access to their full purchase history in their profile and access to personalised information and offers.

How does "One Click Checkout" work?

Members have the ability to save their delivery & payment details so checkout can be completed in one step. Your information is protected by your own password and your email address is your username so you'll never forget it.

Velocity Frequent Flyer Points

Earning and Redeeming Velocity Points on Westfield.com.au

To earn or redeem Velocity Frequent Flyer Points just enter your Velocity number and password at checkout. It?s that simple.

You can pay for part of your order with Velocity Points and pay the balance with another form of payment. You will even earn Velocity Points on the part of the non-Velocity Points part of the transaction. Velocity Points will be credited to your account after 28 days.

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

Individual stores on westfield.com.au set their delivery costs, so they will vary between stores. These will be calculated at the checkout based on the items you choose, so you know exactly what the cost will be before placing your order.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

All stores offer "Standard" flat rate delivery option across Australia, so your items will normally arrive 3-5 working days after you receive an email confirming dispatch.

Some stores offer an "Express" delivery option of 1-3 days. Where this is offered you will have the option to select this when finalising your order.

Delivery times and costs are provided with the product details and calculated in your shopping cart, so you will know the exact cost before confirming any order.

Delivery options and times are set by the individual stores on westfield.com.au and Westfield is not involved in the delivery of orders.

Why is "Express Shipping" only available for some items?

Shipping options and times are set by the individual stores on westfield.com.au. Some offer only standard shipping service. Should you have special delivery requirements you should contact the store directly.

Can I track my order?

Most stores on westfield.com.au are able to provide tracking. You will be able to access tracking details from the "Your Orders" section of westfield.com.au.

Is bulk delivery offered?

Delivery options are set by the individual stores on westfield.com.au. Delivery options and costs are provided with the product details and calculated in your shopping cart, so you will know the exact cost before confirming any order.

Is international shipping offered?

No, currently delivery is only within Australia.

Can I have items sent to different addresses?

Yes, simply make a separate order for each address. You are not charged extra for separating orders. The delivery fee on each order is for a single destination so fees will apply for each different delivery address.

Returns & Warranty

Just like when shopping in a Westfield Centre, each store on westfield.com.au has its own returns & warranty policy.

Each store's policy is available in their terms and conditions in their online store front and on their product pages so it can be checked prior to making any purchase.

I want to return something but I can’t contact the store?

If you have tried contacting the store you purchased from with no response, call us on 1300 788 957 or contact us and we will investigate the matter with the store on your behalf.

My purchase was damaged during delivery, what should I do?

First, contact the store directly. They can contact their freight company to determine what has happened and should be able to resolve this for you. If not, please call us on 1300 788 957 or contact us and we will investigate the matter with the store on your behalf.

Do I get the same warranty online as I would if I bought in-store?

Warranty terms are set by individual stores. You should check the warranty details for each item, including service centre locations, before purchasing items.

Will Westfield support my community event or fundraising?

Each Westfield centre has a Community Site within the centre for fundraising activities such as raffle ticket and merchandise sales. As long as you are a certified charity, and can provide public liability insurance to Westfield specifications you will be eligible to use the site.
