Meet Westfield's gifting expert - Margaret Merten

Margaret Merten is an Australian publishing icon. Following an academic career, she served as the Features Director at Vogue Australia and as the Associate Editor of the Vogue Business supplement. During her time at Vogue, Margaret also won the prestigious Kendall Travel Writing Award. Then moving on to Editor of Vogue Entertaining + Travel, she launched the VE+T Produce Awards.

In 2007, Margaret joined the premium fashion title Harper's BAZAAR as Associate Editor and was responsible for the lifestyle and culture sections of the magazine as well as managing major projects. Margaret has written for an impressive list of international titles including Conde Nast Traveller UK and the international AMEX titles Platinum and Centurion. She has also contributed to The Bulletin, Good Weekend, The Australian Magazine, the Australian Financial Review magazine and Wish, among others.

Today, Margaret regularly contributes to Harper's BAZAAR and works at ACP Custom Media where she re-launched MYER Emporium magazine as editor in 2009. She is also editor-in-chief of the Westfield titles Shine, Fashion Guides and Love Getting More. Having held many editorial roles over a number of years, and having seen the very best of all products on offer cross her desk, Margaret has become an expert at selecting gifts.
