Fluoro-fantasy
Neon is having a moment! Sure, it's reminiscent of the ‘80's and borders on dangerous overload when worn head-to-toe, but neon colours are so very summer! Think fluoro zinc sticks at the beach and 80's surf wear, now put a clean, modern spin on that vision and you'll be sporting stylish neon this season. Accessories in neon are a great way to introduce the trend without going overboard. Pare back pop-bright accessories with blocked neutrals like beige, white, black and grey to really throw your fluoro forward. Most of all have fun with this cult trend!
Tribal Territory
Making a strong impact on the Spring/Summer 2012 catwalks, the tribal trend is back with a vengeance for 2013. Bolder Aztec and futuristic shapes add a more modern feel to the trend this summer and combining more traditional prints with those of a cubic or minimal nature will prove popular this season. Rich embellishments like brocade and beading are also big - don't be afraid to pair and layer these prints. Jewellery is a no-brainer to adopt the Africana trend taking a neutral staple outfit into tribal territory with a statement necklace or pile of bangles. Bags, shoes and scarves are also an easy way to accessorise this trend.
Gelati Party
Add one scoop or two of ice-cream colour to your wardrobe this season with sugary shades of lemon, citrus orange, mint and cherry coming through in tasty array of accessories this summer. Try a statement wedge, chunky blocked necklace or hat in these pretty pastels. Go all out flouncy feminine with this colour palette or pare back these shades of summer bright with neutral basics for an edgier feel. Play with plastics as metallic accessories and jewellery are replaced with resin and synthetic styles in block colour this summer.
Athletica
Be a good sport this summer with clean, minimal lines, breathable fabrics and easy-to-wear athletic shapes. Two-toned pieces, single stripes and bold yet simple colour keep you stylish and active when adopting this sporty-luxe trend. Try the wedge-heeled trainer for some pop-glam this season, a bright statement watch or visor or retro sunglasses to really amp up your adrenalin activities this season. Whether you're exercising in style or just sporting the trend off-duty, keep the lines clean, the shapes well fitted and easy to wear. Ramp up your accessories for maximum impact.
White Wash
Nothing says summer like an injection of crisp, bleached-out whites in your wardrobe. This season, bold textural whites like brocades and edgy lace work come into play amongst the clean simplicity of the modern white classics. Try going top-to-toe in white this summer or accessorise neutrals or clean colour with strong white accessories like white shoes, belts, bags, hats and jewellery.
