This inspiring video tells the stories of seven Australian mums who speak candidly about the rewards and challenges of motherhood and how they manage to balance life in style with the joys and sometime struggles of being a mum.

Meet Sportscraft's Mums

Nicole Bonython - stylist, volunteer and a mum of five

‘Challenging, rewarding, lovely and challenging' - this is Nicole's description of motherhood, and if anyone would know it's this stylish mum of five. A successful stylist, who often works on Sportscraft campaigns, also volunteers her time running a soup kitchen. 

Georgia Tilley - artist, cook and grandmother

‘They're just so precious, their little sparkle just rubs off on you' - this glamorous working grandmother reflects upon the luxury of experience. With two daughters, a new grandchild, as well as indulging her passions in drawing and cooking, means this mum has a very full life and that's the way she likes it.  

Trish Fallon - Olympic athlete, coffee addict and mum

Trish is very experienced in the art of juggling - being a former Olympic basketballer, but even for her, motherhood can be ‘relentless'. She credits organisation as her saving grace and savours any moments she has alone, however the time spent with her children that are the most valuable.

Georgie Watts - linguist, therapist and mum

To this stay at home mum, there are days she is jealous of mother's who work, however she wouldn't give up hanging out with her gorgeous children for the world. To Georgie, motherhood is a rewarding change. ‘Your priorities shift, things that were important to you before are just not even part of the big picture now. It's all for my kids!'

Vashti Whitfield - life coach, biker and mum

‘Surrender and chaos' - Vashti sums up motherhood in two words! Her passions in life are also attacked with same intensity, whether it's her love affair with motorcycles, good wine or energetic boxing sessions. Vashti's experience of motherhood hasn't been without challenges, having lost her husband to cancer, six months ago.  ‘Being a single mother is something I had never banked on doing. It has been an interesting change.'

Kristy Hinze - model, wildlife activist and mum

New to motherhood, Kristy has just celebrated the birth of her daughter Dylan. ‘At the moment I don't like moments to myself. I like to be with Dylan 24/7.' Kristy's ideal Mother's Day would be waking up in bed, having a snuggle and a cup of coffee with her husband and baby.

Marisa Firman - designer, lego expert and mum

Working mother of two, Head of Designer of Sportscraft, Marisa credits her lack of procrastination and a hands on partner for being able to balance career and motherhood. She describes motherhood as ‘Joyful. Every day I wake up, it's a bit like Christmas!'.
